In the nearest future it will be possible to forget about coloring of hair. At least, struggle with grey hair will be changed in other way, rather than banal masking. Scientists from the University of Manchester and Universität zu Lübeck have developed a way of natural hair color restoration.
People, whose hair has tuned grey because of disease, ageing or strong stress, had a hope as scientists have found a way to turn process of loss of a hair color back.
Command Ralf Paus has created a hormonal medicine (known while under name K (D) PT), which restores natural hair color.
In laboratory conditions scientists managed to force grey-haired and even white hair to return the initial color (samples were are taken from women at the age from 46 till 65 years old).
At influence the quantity of melanin is increased by K (D) PT molecule in the hair. According to one of experts, melanin stimulation will presumably allow to return pigmentation of hair.
